Top 4 Coffee Concentrates on the Market Today

If you haven’t heard about coffee concentrates yet, then prepare yourself for the best thing to happen since sliced bread. Coffee concentrates are coffee made simple, typically produced with cold brew methods and shipped in small bottles. Coffee concentrates provide that delicious coffee shop flavor and can be made in seconds, all while cutting down on waste and the need for machines and tools. All you have to do is add a tablespoon or so of the concentrate to the liquid of your choosing for excellent iced or hot coffee, lattes, americanos, and more. We’ve gone ahead and done the legwork for you, so you know exactly which one to try for yourself.

1. OneBy Coffee

Price Per Bottle: $19.99
Servings Per Bottle: 17 cups
Flavor Profile: Nuts, chocolate, soft fruits

This fantastic coffee concentrate stole our hearts and crushed the competition. Most importantly, the fresh, nutty aroma and rich flavor is even better than you would expect from a high-end coffee shop. It has a very low acidity so the flavor layers really shine through without being overpowering.

They also offer fast shipping and excellent customer service. Their Peruvian beans are sustainably sourced from farmers who are guaranteed a fair wage, plus every component of their bottles and shipment packaging is 100% recyclable. We give OneBy all 5 stars, try it for yourself!

2. Javy

Price Per Bottle: $19.95
Servings Per Bottle: 30 cups
Flavor Profile: Bold and earthy

This coffee was enjoyable and we really liked their company's unique vibes. Their brand is fun and eclectic, plus they have a great online presence! We would say this coffee is best for people who enjoy more of a bite in their coffee, though we really enjoyed the smoother, less acidic taste of OneBy a bit more. Overall it's a solid choice, but we still had to rate this concentrate in second place for taste.

3. Chameleon

Price Per Bottle: $9.99
Servings Per Bottle: 6 cups
Flavor Profile: Bold, with multiple flavors available

Our favorite thing about this brand is that they had different flavors, such as cinnamon, vanilla and mocha! Unfortunately, the quality of the coffee is sub-par compared to the other brands we tasted. It was a bit weak and acidic without much body. And, while the price is low, you are paying for a LOT of water weight. Each bottle only makes 6 cups of coffee.

4. Explorer

Price Per Bottle: $41.00
Servings Per Bottle: 20 cups
Flavor Profile: Nutty with smooth undertones

The thing that’s fun and different about this company is they offer a variety of caffeine levels throughout their concentrates. This ranges from caffeine-free to extra-caffeinated, giving you the ability to choose your desired energy level. They also have a variety of bottle sizes; the small ones are convenient for travelers or people on the go! Their downfall is that you only get 8 cups worth with the 4-pack of small bottles, or 20 cups with the large bottle. The flavor also falls a bit short as it does not have as much of the full-body flavor as OneBy or Jot.

In the end, we are completely obsessed with coffee concentrates and encourage each and everyone of you to give it a try. They are better for the environment, better for your wallet (usually) and taste better than any plastic cup or powder we’ve tried. They bring the flavors and aromas of a high end coffee shop directly to your kitchen and are also super easy to travel with. Our clear winner today was OneBy Coffee Concentrate due to their smooth, rich flavors, incredible price point, sustainability and overall wonderful service!
